About Me
Mariella Mosthof is a culture writer and editor who covers entertainment, sex & relationships, queer topics, labor issues, mental health, and fertility. She's been working in digital media for 12 years with bylines at VICE, Nylon, Bitch Media, INTO, them., Slate, Glamour.com, and more.
Mariella has appeared on various media panels including HuffPost Live and CBC Radio's q, and she's been tapped as an expert in her field on Dateline NBC. Her work has been cited by the New York Times, the Washington Post, NPR, the Berkeley Guide To Social Movements and Social Media, and in various anthologies. In 2013, Mariella's work was nominated for a James Beard Media Award. She's also a classically trained actor (Stella Adler Studio-NY, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art-London) who graduated from New York University with a BFA in Drama and a BA in English.
